S. Vidyavathi
was the First Rank Holder at State level in Office Management in Higher
Secondary Public Examination, March 1993.
P.N. Ekanathan
was the First Rank holder in Tamil at State level in Higher Secondary Public
Examination, March 1994.
Annually five
or six of our students get the District level prizes for academic proficiency.
On an average,
one Student has been getting a place in the state level sports.
Every year, one
or two students or our N.C.C. Unit are selected for participation in All India
Camp.
Every year our
students participate in about ten outside competitions and win shields and
medals.
Every year 10
to 15 students of our scout unit are selected for Rajyapuraskar award and three
or four students for Rashtrapathi (National) Award.
Seven of our staff
members were conferred with state award for Best Teachers.
A Silver
Rolling Trophy was awarded to our School by the Mylapore Academy for being the
best School in the city which secured the highest percentage of results in
S.S.L.C. presenting the largest number of students in the year 1991-92.
Our School has
been awarded Shields for winning the First place at Educational District level
for securing highest percentage of passes in S.S.L.C. and H.S.C.
On an average,
75 students of our school get admission on merit basis into Professional Colleges every year.
